In addition to delivering fleece-lined winter jackets, hoodies and shoes in the past, The foundation is continuing its ‘Keep Warm Kit’ campaign throughout the colder months. Our Keep Warm Kit campaign started in October 2022 and we have been working alongside several primary schools and senior local counselors to ensure delivery of a keep warm kit for those primary school pupils in need during the cold winter months. The foundation feels strongly that children need to be protected as much as possible from the winter snap given the energy crisis that has had such a significant impact on so many households in the UK.

It is with this in mind that The Debra Reiss Foundation will continue to deliver pupils in each chosen school an early Christmas package containing high quality brand new gloves, scarves, vests, hats, socks, all packaged within a reusable drawstring bag.

The distribution of these packages starts in October and runs throughout the winter months with Kirsty Pearlman from The Debra Reiss Foundation stating that ‘we aim to reach as many schools and help as many children as possible to properly keep those warm whose families are truly affected by the cost of living crisis’. The foundation has extremely close ties in particular with both Haringey and Barnet councils, as it is based in Highgate, North London.
